Today’s photopainting is a fantasy version of the silos and tanks of the commercial port of Barcelona inspired by the work of the French painter Gustave Moreau.
Located in the La Font de la Guatlla neighborhood, the CaixaForum Barcelona centre offers a great variety of artistic, cultural and educational events throughout the year. This photopainting is a homage to Maurits Cornelis Escher.
Barcelona is quite far away from Japan, but I could not help thinking of the works of Hokusai while I worked on this photopainting.

The Sant Martí de Provençals neighborhood is changing at a rapid pace. Every time I go up there, I come across new construction sites like the one in the picture. The colors I have used remind me of Jacques Monory.
