What I like above all, when I stroll around Barcelona, is to come across indistinct shapes and spots of paint on street furniture, which I then convert into scenic elements of my own imaginary world.
Barcelona is thriving on multicultural trends in all aspects of life, including street art, like here on Avinyó street.
If you prefer to avoid summer crowds, you can always look for some quiet Barcelona neighborhood and enjoy some street art. It is nice to get down to basics with a few dots and lines like here in the picture.
In many neighborhoods of Barcelona one can find graffitis and tags which bring life and color to crumbling facades and rusty doors. Here is an example with even brighter tones.
