For food lovers, here is a photopainting of a chocolate shop I saw in the La Vila de Gràcia neighborhood.
Barcelona is quite far away from Japan, but I could not help thinking of the works of Hokusai while I worked on this photopainting.
Another magical place in Barcelona is the Parc del Laberint d’Horta, which is home to the oldest city garden. It is a place of peace and harmony where one can rest and hide away whatever the season.

I took that picture awhile back in the Sarrià neighborhood. I like the way the colors came out after applying my special “Mexican” filter.
The Teatre Nacional de Catalunya, located in the El Fort Pienc neighborhood, is one of the few neoclassical buildings of Barcelona.
Barcelona is one of the world’s capitals of fashion. Most boutiques are located in the downtown area, where one can also find vintage shops, especially in the Born which is part of the Barri Gòtic.
