From the beginning of time Catalonia has been a source of inspiration for creative people, as we can see from the cave paintings of Abrics de l’Ermita. More recently, world renowned artists such as Antonio Gaudí, Joan Miró, Salvador Dalí and Antoni Tàpies have created masterpieces which we still admire and imitate today. It is no wonder if Catalans are proud of their culture and traditions, and assert their individuality.
