Dead leaves fascinate me because they create intricate patterns of an incredible variety. Their ephemeral beauty has inspired poets and painters alike, not to mention fashion designers. Today’s picture plays around with grey and copper tones for a change.
Here is another picture of my Pools of Emotions series. The weather has been typical of the season lately, and I think that dry leaves and rain drops reflect quite well the current mood!
The title of this photograph is “Seducció” in catalan, which means seduction. It looks as if the leaf at the top right is trying to attract the one at the bottom left.
Here is a picture of a series I particularly like. I am in the process of creating a special section in my blog dedicated to my favourite galleries. It will be available soon. This photo was taken in a beautiful Barcelona park. Try to guess which one?
Summer is around the corner, and I should not be talking about leaves, but I cannot help it! Here is one more photograph from my Pools of Emotions series.
It looks like were are going to skip winter this year, and move directly from autumn to spring. The weather has been very mild in Barcelona. Admittedly, the equinox is still more than one month away, but I don’t think it will snow here till then!
